They helped us regarding our problem to reach the hotel from train station because of some delays from the train schedule. Besides, we got a very nice room heading to the lake view. It was an excellent service. Hotel facilities, especially for children was also very good. Hotel located in a very cozy place, surrounded by minimarket, dessert shop, winter sport rental, and also ticket counter for some winter activities. The breakfast was delicious. The bus station is also located in the hotel parking area.

The hotel room is nicely decorated with a balcony overlooking the river and the castle. We wished we could have stayed longer there. The breakfast offers a good selection and is quite tasty.

As a largest town of South Bohemia is ideal as a starting point for exploring surroundings, Česky Krumlov, Trebon, Kratochvile castle, Prachatice, Hluboka... Old part of town is full of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance buildings. Nice to stroll and discover sights. Many good restaurants, like Mesne Kramy and U Tri sedlaku with excellent Czech food. We've chosen Trebon as a base for our trip through South Bohemia. Stayed there for 4 nights, but mainly to sleep over. Liked the walks through the city center, but there could be more places to enjoy good beer. Local Regent beer is unfortunately poor but I hear the fish in the restaurants is great. Great nature around town.

I only stayed for a short time and it was just enough. I personally prefer to travel around and see different places rather than feel like I've spent too long somewhere. I was lucky enough to see this place in the snow and it's just beautiful. The views from the castle over the old town area when it's dark, with a bit of lighting and the snow just absolutely magnificent. "The Pearl of South Bohemia" is what I am told Cesky Krumlov is - and it's not difficult to see why!

Amazing experience - rooms are extremely spacious and spotlessly clean; the breakfast is amazing, with many delicious local foods; the location could not be any better. The rooms with view to the central square are perfect - if you are going near Christmas, the view to the Christmas Market is just MAGICAL - it is surreal how beautiful it is. Hotel Stekl gives great impression from moment you see it in person, atmosphere is both luxury and relaxing. The staff were all super sympa and helpful. We had a problem with the rooms when we arrived, and the manager Jana helped us to switch rooms efficiently and smiling, Food was very good - rich offer in the buffet for half-board. The location is perfect just at the entrance to Hluboka chateau and rooms with a view are worth it. Rooms are large, elegant and very comfortable.

The Hotel is located on the banks the lovely Lipno lake . We were there for only two nights and just loved it, The room was tidy and very clean, Restaurant was good. Breakfast was tasty with good variety, No parking problems too. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. We would like to especially thank Thomas from the front desk team for all his help which made our stay there excellent.
