Extraordinary great hotel with modern and spacious rooms, very friendly staff and a perfect location at the ocean front. Especially the beach bar is wonderful. Fresh drinks and snacks all day long while you can relax on the beach couches. Also the restaurant is very recommendable.

Situated in Puerto Viejo, less than 1 km from Cocles Beach, Hotel Casa Vito Beachfront features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. We moved to Hotel Casa Vito after staying one night at another cabiña farther from town without A/C. Hotel Casa Vito exceded our expectations and is in a great location. The staff was incredibly friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the area. Vito gave restaurant recommendations and arranged a tour to Punta Uva for my daughters and me. The staff was always available and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Responses to inquiries through the chat feature of Booking.com, email, and WhatsApp were very quick and the staff all spoke English and Spanish. The hotel is right next to a great area on the beach with safe swimming, and the hotel offered bamboo mats and towels for us to take down there. There were also spots at the hotel to rinse the sand from your feet and take a warm shower before returning to your room. The room was clean and exactly as described with wonderful air conditioning. Breakfast was a great value with hearty portions of a few options, and it was delicious. Their rice and beans were the best I've had in Costa Rica so far. If we return to Puerto Viejo, we'll definitely be staying at Hotel Casa Vito again.
