Located in the city centre next to the small Suze canal and the pedestrianised shopping zone, the Mercure Biel hotel is easily reachable on foot from the main station. Perfectly cleans. Modern style. Very friendly team. Sleeping Room is very well equipped. Clean. Despite close traffic outside, no noice in the room (perfect windows). Breakfast is fantastic in terms of wide choice of food and drinks, quality and presentation. We joined breakfast 9:30 am. Still whole choice of food and drinks presented. Price is ok given the value.

Located in Biel and with Bernexpo reachable within 38 km, Hotel Dufour provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a bar, free WiFi throughout the property and massage services. The room was very pleasant, clean, comfortable and had all the necessary facilities including its own bathroom with shower. The location of the Hotel Dufour was very good, in the town centre and near the old town. It was a pleasant 15 minute walk to Biel/Bienne railway station and there was a frequent trolleybus service to and from the station. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty with a good variety of drinks and food which were plentiful. The hotel also had its own excellent Indian restaurant with an impressive variety of food which was very reasonably priced.

The Hotel Metropol is located in Biel, close to the city park, and offers en-suite rooms with free WiFi, satellite TV and a refrigerator. A garden is available as well. I loved the location, being near enough to the centre but quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a dedicated bicycle room with tools for repairing anything.
