Quiet, peaceful and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was amazing, everything was homemade. Fresh juice, homemade bread and cakes. Something new and freshly made each morning. The outdoor sauna was a nice touch.

Situated in the country side, Het Bloemenhof features an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and well-equipped rooms. Bruges and the North Sea beach are a 12-minutes’ drive. The most extraordinary place we have ever stay. This hotel puts many 5* in the shadows. Beautifully decorated to the highest standard and cleaned to a higher standard. Upon entering one feels at home and the staff were going above and beyond what was expected. Our room was enormous; tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The en-suite was spotless. Having travelled over 1800 miles from Bulgaria in the previous days we were given was can best be described as breakfast fit for a king, incredible cooked hot food, fresh breads, cheeses, hams, great coffee and orange juice. ( and then we were given pancakes. On the advice of the staff we visited the local town of Damme which itself was another great experience . I really wish I could have given a higher score in the ratings

Rooms: Incredible rooms, big enough. There are refrigator, hair dryer, shampoo and enough towels. The beds can be controlled by a remote and very comfortable. What to do: The city of Brugge is a great city with Unesco-Peotection. Also the Blankenberge beaches must be great at summer time Safety: It's so safe, the building is in a nice neighbourhood and away from other houses. At night you can only access the hotel with your room card. Walking: Walking around the lake in a walking path was amazing. Just keep your jackets on :) Eats and drinks: The breakfast was amazing! Glutenfree options, vegan options and also lactosefree options was also included. And there's great 0 orange juice :) Other: The lake-view is amazing and worth the extra money for a lake-view room.

Everything was super clean. The parking was free. Very cosy and great design. Very nice rooms. The staff got us the rooms next to each other with two rooms connected by a door. Very nice.

Had a great stay at the hotel De Vaart. A perfect location for our cycling break right on top of the Damme canal that links Brugge to Holland. Rudy and the team are fantastic hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. A great selection of beers on offer for post ride socialising and all very well priced. Breakfast was extensive and just what was needed to set you up for the day. The rooms are perfect for a cycling break and i had one of the best nights sleep i've had in a while add to that onsite secure cycle parking and what more can you ask for on a cycling break. I would defiantly stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family....5 stars all-round.
