Viewpoint Estate Guest House is difficult to describe in words. The stunning decor, beautiful gardens and amazing view creates an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Sam is such an outstanding host. She made us feel welcome even before our arrival. We stayed in room 5 - the decor was inspiring. Extra large bed with the most comfortable pillows and mattress. A fan (most useful) coffee and tea making facilities, a small fridge. Large bath and shower. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend. 10star guest house for sure.

Her personal touch truly made a difference, especially when she kindly lent me her own binoculars for our safari activities. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our experience tremendously. We also appreciated the convenience of the breakfast baskets, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals even with our early starts. The Bohemian decor of the lodge added a unique charm to our stay, making it both cozy and visually appealing. The romantic dinner our host arranged was a highlight of our trip. To top it all off, the lodge's unique location allowed us to experience wildlife up close, as we had the amazing opportunity to encounter a duiker and even a giraffe right at the lodge! Additionally, the lodge's location is very close to Hoedspruit airport and many reserves, making it an ideal place to stay.
