The property is stunning and quite vast. The lighted path throughout that takes you to little places to sit, have a drink and admire the view were so nice. It was the ultimate place to relax and unwind after a full day of travel. The rooms were spacious, and well decorated. Staff couldn't have been nicer. It is very kid friendly. We stayed at the beginning of the off-season so it wasn't an issue for us. I could imagine if you are a couple without kids that the summer would be quite packed.. just something to keep in mind depending how you like to travel. In all, we were pleasantly surprised. I knew it would be nice, but it definitely exceeded expectations.

Do book a slot at the observatory 7-8 min ride away. We also attended the June 1st beginning of Summer beach party at the Praia Fleuvial, one tip of the beautiful lake Alonqueva - great music and dance on the beach.. Also do the one hour boat cruise.

Eveything very fresh and new and the rooms are wonderful. Parking of the car was easy outside and if you want they also have a garage for Eur 10.- which is ok. Breakfast was absolut top and staff very friendly.

Everything was provided for a very comfortable experience. Everything was extra clean, beds comfortable, the washer and dryer were very convenient. Two bathrooms were an extra bonus and convenient. We enjoyed using the barbecue outside at the lanai and the seating area as well. The host was very kind to provide complimentary supply of coffee, thank you! We loved the location and easy parking right next to home. An outstanding stay and highly recommend!
