Alsaif camp features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Bidiyah. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Four Palace in alsaif camp was very spacious and tidy with a very welcoming staff, especially Yassir. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Boasting a spa bath, Golden dune Bedouin camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. For an average hotel this would be a bad review. But one chooses this property precisely for getting a different experience. We had our own tents without other guests. Quite secluded. Good dinner and breakfast is included. With a 4x4 or AWD you can drive to their houses. After that you have to drive to your own tent, which can be tricky in that deep sand. They provide assistance. You have a toilet, cold shower and running tap water. And best of all: free parking places! We also did their (only?) tour to get further in the desert to see their camel and goat farms, with the sunset view at the end. This is fun, although overpriced (30 rial).

Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. Top situated on top of a dune. The services are extremely friendly and competent. Rooms are in top condition and stylish, food is excellent. And the Pool with it"s view over the surrounding dunes ist worth to jump into. No noice creating activities in the camp but available in 500 m distance for those who like dune bashing. Camel rides and ballooning are further options amongst others. All in all- you will like it!

I have visited hundreds of hotels and apartments, but this one is definitely the best! This apartment is truly perfect in every way - size, quality, location, amenities, location and the most open and friendly host, who recommends a trip with the best desert guide - Ali. I rarely give reviews and almost never give 10/10, but this time I would give 20 if I could! I confirm - it would be worth visiting Oman just for this apartment!

Thousand Nights Camp is located in Shārqiyah. Some units are air conditioned and include a seating area with a flat-screen TV.The tented camp offers an outdoor pool. Everything was great and loved the location. Food was excellent and was really happy most selections were regional foods so it had a nice authentic atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and extra shout out to Yarin for being so professional when I made a mistake with my own booking :)

Arabian Nights Resort & Spa features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and bar in Shāhiq. The resort offers both free WiFi and free private parking. They were very friendly during check-in. Separate from the resort, I had hired a private driver who attempted to extort me. Luckily I escaped the situation and a driver from the resort picked me up. Still, the driver continued to contact me asking for money and threatening to call the police. He even called the hotel several times. After explaining the situation the hotel staff were very understanding and helped to ward him off. Long story short, the staff will make you feel safe here! Anyway, they offer a range of fun cultural and physical activities to try. I did the Bedouin house tour, Sunset drive, Sand Boarding (highly recommend, good fun), and Camel ride. The food at the restaurant is good and portions are generous. The pool was nice and I wish I used it more.

Boasting a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and quiet street views, Golden Palm Oasis is set in Fulayj al Mashāʼikh. The property has mountain and garden views. Very welcoming hosts, great surrounding dunes, lots of surprise visits from friendly camels, nice pool, great food, nice room and view. Service was really above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Situated in Bidiyah, REMAL INN has a garden, shared lounge, restaurant, and free WiFi. An indoor swimming pool and a ski equipment rental service are available for guests. Property is beautiful, host was helpful and managed to book everything we needed. The housekeeper was really nice and made delicious food. The host had also booked our safari with zaher who was really welcoming and gave an amazing tour around the dessert.
