Situato a Piaam, a 500 metri dal lago artificiale Ijsselmeer e a 5 km dalla spiaggia, il Piaam State offre una varietà di camere basic con connessione Wi-Fi gratuita. We were met on arrival by our host who explained the facilities available, ie use of kitchen, tea & coffee, pool & outside seating. She kindly provided water & drinks for our first night. Our room in the eaves was large, clean & bright with characterful central beams. Lovely views from the sloping windows. A substantial buffet breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh fruit as well as cooked meats, cheeses & boiled eggs. Great location just 1.5km from the town of Makkum where there are several shops & restaurants. Also a little further to the marina & beach. Secure parking.

The shower was also very nice. The owners of the cottage are easy to reach and friendly. They left a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift!
