The caravan was so well equipped - my sister and I felt like we were staying in a family home rather than just a holiday home. Great location for the beach and a short drive to restaurants shops. Communication with Janice our host was excellent and access couldn't be simpler. Janice left us fresh milk and treats - so welcome after a longish drive. The bonus for us - Pet friendly. We hope to return again - there is so much to see and do in the area. It is possible to buy a pass to use the resort facilities - although we did not.

Set in South Shields, Seaview Retreat - South Shields is a recently renovated accommodation, 700 metres from Sandhaven Beach and 11 km from Stadium of Light. It's a beautifully refurbished 2 bed apartment overlooking the sea. It's very spacious and after finishing the Great North Run, I was so glad it was within walking distance from the finish line. The whole apartment is bright and comfortable, with a fab bathroom and lovely new kitchen with a big bay window in the sitting/living room. The pictures you see on the booking website are accurate, and not taken at angles to make rooms appear bigger like some do. Also The view of the sunrise in the morning across the sea was stunning.

Located in South Shields, 700 metres from Sandhaven Beach, The Seaview - South Shields provides recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a private beach area. A warm and welcoming flat, really clean and comfortable, stocked with necessities (tea, coffee, milk and biscuits). In a quiet area, close to the beach, the parks and local pubs and shops. Parking was next to the property. Mark who helped us with checking in and checking out. One of my favourite things to do was to sit by the window with my morning coffee and enjoy the view of the park and the sea...bliss. I will definitely stay here on my next trip up north to see family.

Village Hotel Newcastle is just 15 minutes' drive from Newcastle city centre. The hotel offers a leisure club with a 25-metre pool. Nice hotel and good location. Clean and modern. Comfy bed. Kettle, iron etc. Big fluffy towels. Lovely helpful friendly staff.

Immerso in una tenuta di circa 7,3 ettari nei pressi dell'autostrada A19/A1 (Nord), l'Holiday Inn Newcastle Gosforth Park si trova a soli 9,7 km dal centro di Newcastle e a breve distanza dalla... Posto tranquillo immerso nel verde. Pulito. Colazione top!!
