It felt like we were stepping into some magical cottage, tucked away in beautiful countryside on the cusp of a forest and full of light and warmth in those times of Christmas festivities. Peter and Mario are the most charming hosts and made us feel wonderfully welcome. Breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. We will absolutely come back!

It was a wonderful experience, staying in a French chateau in the beautiful wooded landscape of the Allier region. The chateau is framed by tall leafy trees, lawns and gardens. We stayed in a room with views, and woke up to birdsong. Our hosts made us very welcome. We had a sumptuous breakfast at a long table. The room was nicely furnished, with a large and comfortable bed.

The house of Madame Colette and Monsieur Alain is wonderful! Everything is clean, comfortable, the placement is perfect, Lapalisse is a beautiful town. But! This is not all these advantages that made this place so unique. This are the hosts who make it absolutely a wonderful place. They are kind, helpful and open-hearted. Our car have broke down and we needed to find a shelter for one night and when we arrived at Collete Alain Maxime, I am pretty sure we looked like drowned rats. They did not only give us shelter, fed us, but also helped to find a mechanic. Honestly? I was feeling not like in a hotel with strangers, but like in a family. Madame Colette speaks English quite well too, so if don't know a word in French and you are searching for a cozy place with wonderful staff - this is a place for you

Nick was the most amazing host, nothing was too much trouble. The Chateau was truly spectacular with stunning views and pool area.

Set within 11 km of Palais des Congrès Opéra Vichy and 11 km of Vichy Train Station, CYRIS - Chambres Duplex climatisées - Spa & Piscine Centre ville features rooms with air conditioning and a private... Cyril was a great host. He welcomed us in and showed us our room and the shared facilities (kitchen, games room, patio...) In the garden, the jacuzzi is 5 stars as is the pool. The room is large and all 4 of us slept comfortably. We found parking very near the front door.
