It’s beautiful inside and out. Love the whole concept of minimal staff - felt like we had a huge villa, we used the facilities to prepare lunch on a couple of occasions. Guests are able to use large own fridge/freezer etc. Gorgeous saltwater pool. Thoughtful touches throughout - welcome macarons in the room, water machine downstairs to refill provided bottles, beach towels included. Immaculately clean and very stylish indeed.

Apartamentos San Román is situated in Retorta and has a private pool and garden views. It is set 18 km from Congress and Exhibiton Center and offers full-day security. Just wonderful! Our host Alberto was kind and helpful, sharing tips to make our stay and trip better. The place itself is spotless, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a very quiet place, with a small tavern nearby. The bed is super comfortable, everything seems brand new, and it is easy to see someone has an eye for detail. Cannot recommend highly enough!

With Sil Canyon reachable in 42 km, Casa Grande da Ferreria de Rugando provides accommodation, a restaurant, pool with a view, a bar and a shared lounge. This is a stunningly beautiful location. The building is authentic and perfectly restored with very comfortable beds, relaxing common areas and a pool. We loved the friendly and helpful staff. The hiking was rewarding with amazing views. The meals were delicious and local specialties were served daily.

Lovely cozy country house feel. The staff were so friendly, attentive and patient with our kids. The spacious grounds and beautiful views provided a relaxing atmosphere. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the terrace, the staff prepare many dishes (empanadas and bizcocho for example) in a wood-fired oven! Lastly, everyday Berni the owner gave us great tips on exploring the region and getting the best out of La Ribeira Sacra.

Magical location out in the woods, by a huge river. We booked last minute in a bit of a panic looking for something dog friendly. It was a Sunday evening in the winter so very quiet but we got a warm welcome. Room was comfortable and the Lodge was warm. The staff even lit the wood fire for us. Amazing place to hike and be out in nature.
