Cabañas del Rio státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með sundlaug með útsýni og verönd, í um 4,6 km fjarlægð frá La Fortuna-fossinum. The reception was excellent, the tour guide was knowledgeable, and the breakfast was delicious!!! Most important though, was that there was not one single mosquito in the room, ant or anything. We have been everywhere in Costa Rica, and this is the very first time our room was spotless and bugless!

I loved everything about Arenal Xilopalo. From the moment we got there, the staff was so welcoming and nice. There was even a mix-up with the taxi picking us up at the airport which was no fault of theirs and they were so apologetic. I loved staying here and can't wait to be back. It was the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. And the location, was perfect. It really is very close to everything you may need. Thanks Arenal Xilopalo for making our first time to Costa Rica so special. Pura vida!

Fantastic location and very quiet. Walkable to restaurants and shops, and tours pick up from reception or there is plenty of off street parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast in a nice area around the pool with view of volcano. Really pleasant vibe and feels like you're not in the centre of the town. Use of Volcano lodge hot pools was an added bonus.

Everything was AMAZING!!! Maravilloso, sin palavras. Es el paradiso! Un veradero paradiso. Piscinas maravillosas, limpio, poca gente, unas condiciones absolutamente inigualables! Superó todas mis expectativas. El bar tiene unas margaritas buenísimas y comida muy rica! Es una experiencia alucinante! Lo aconsejo a todo el mundo, es un 10/10!!!
