Our stay was in Summer, wonderful private beach access for swimming in the lake. Plenty of hotel parking for guests and it was really easy. Wonderful restaurant as well. Great place to stay on the lake, would highly recommend. We hope to come again!

The rooms lacks character but the attached restaurant is worth visiting ( But you need to be very patient !). You are very close to Traunsee, go by car and visit the lake and chapel.

Situated in Grasberg, Das Grasberghaus offers a patio with pool and garden views, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna and spa facilities. Location is mind-blowing! Hopefully we can go back once in summer too, but the house is perfect in winter as well. The fireplace is stunning! Underfloor heating gives such high-end comfort too. This house is setup for relaxation, while you can have fun in the playroom downstairs too. Swimming pool, barbeque facilities...so many things, that it's hard to list them all! Ohh, almost forgot the sauna! Once it has a plunge pool for the sauna, then it'll be the ultimate destination!

Amazing views of the Traunstein and Traunsee, only a few minutes away from Gmunden (a lovely little town by the lake) and also not far from larger cities such as Vöcklabruck (10-15 min by car) and Salzburg (40 min by car). Both in the summer and winter, there is so much to do and explore nearby; any length of stay won't feel quite long enough. The property is also very clean and comfortable, and the hosting family go out of their way to make guests feel at home. For example, on arrival, some delicious homemade cake and jam were waiting for us, and when we had an unexpected bout of snow, we were handed some winter gear and sledge for our daughter. There is much more to praise about this place, but i don't want to make it even more popular than it is already to make sure it doesn't book out too quickly.

This 4 star hotel is set in the centre of Traunkrichen. The hotel offers accommodation with lake views, a restaurant, a terrace and a garden. The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.
