The location was great with a mountaintop view from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our small dog and even though we couldn't bring him into the casino or restaurant, we could take the food to our room or eat outside. The food was delicious. We arrived to see a group of pronghorn roaming around the entrance among people waiting to take the trolley into the town of Deadwood. Having stayed at some less than satisfactory pet friendly hotels, the lodge was very clean and didn't charge an arm and a leg for having our pet. The location was fun to get to - winding mountain road. We loved the place

The breakfast was not very good. We stayed 6 nights and it was the same thing every day. Only coffee machine that we had to wait in line for. No muffins or small Danish. Just sad. They don't offer free coffee and ice water except for during breakfast.. after the 3rd day we went elsewhere .

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly. It was obviously family friendly as a child of a staff member was riding her tricycle in the lobby while we were checking in.

"Does it have a pool?" is probably one of the most common booking questions no matter where you're looking to stay. These hotels offer a great way to get some exercise without having to hit the gym on your vacation. Indoor pools let you practice your backstroke come rain or shine, while outdoor options are perfect for relaxing in the sun after swimming a few laps.
Clean. Nice location. The pool was nice for more little kids but my 16 and 12 year old still used it. The on site restaurant was nice and the portion size was good for the price.
All staff were very professional and friendly, the whole facility was very clean and well looked after. Breakfast room had ample seating and food was well stocked. Pool area (hot tub) was also clean and very enjoyable after a long day. Our room was very comfortable.
After 5 weeks on the road this was the best accommodation we stayed at.
Staff was great. Room was great.
Pool/hot tub was small but clean and pleasant.
Breakfast was great.
