It’s very secluded, nothing to do if you don’t have a car. The beach was closed due to flooding so all we had was the pool because this resort doesn’t organise any activities. They drive you with buggy car everywhere across the resort but the thing is that you can’t do much there.

This beautiful resort is located on the island paradise of Phangan, with beautiful beaches and panoramic sea views. A large outdoor pool, gym and free Wi-Fi are available.

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The restaurant with bar is typical asian. Wood and beautiful decorations. Perfect location on perfect sandy beach. It is a short 5min walk to retail street with many F&B options. If you are used to resort style vacation with many amenities this is not for you. This is for sunbathing, sea swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking only but if you are adventurous then the island discovery on motorbike could be the option.

Yangyai Garden Lodge is an absolute ripper of a spot in Koh Phangan! The rooms are top-notch – clean, comfy, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a beaut place to kick back and relax. It’s a proper oasis, just far enough from the party chaos but close enough if you’re keen for a night out. Ping, the host, is a bloody legend. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after, whether it’s sorting your transport or sharing local tips. If you’re after a chilled, welcoming vibe with awesome hospitality, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough! Also the host has travelled a lot and has excellent English, meaning he can and will happily explain complex details and interesting facets of thai culture. All of his recommendations were excellent.
