Pleasant enough two night stay here this week but not without fault although I am being picky. Property is pretty remote and not easy to find but when you arrive it’s very nice. Rooms are excellent and the pool area etc is nice. We had breakfast twice in the hotel restaurant as well as an evening meal and the food and drink quality were very good. The service was slow for breakfast at times and we had a very odd moment at dinner where an inexperienced member of staff removed a full drink from our table without explanation. When we asked what was going on a more senior staff member came over and apologised and returned the drink saying the young lady who removed it was a trainee and had got confused. I also had an incident with a faulty sun lounger that resulted in me sustaining a painful foot injury. The staff were very caring immediately after the incident and applied ice to my foot etc. which was kind and caring. Overall, if you are staying in Kandy, I would recommend it.

Hotel staff have all been incredible, the room was clean and we were given a free upgrade. The pool is clean and has a lovely view and there are shared balconies where you can see sunrise and sunset. The food at the restaurant was delicious with large portions and lots of vegetarian options. We cant say enough good things about the staff, they are incredibly friendly and have been a highlight of the trip going above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. We can't thank them enough!

It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families). The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The setting in Sri Lanka’s lush “foliage” is breathtaking, and the way the architecture blends into the landscape is not only beautiful but simply genius. We felt an overwhelming sense of peace from the moment we arrived. The Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs were life-changing, and the team are so positive and treated us with so much kindness and thoughtfulness. The food was beyond amazing—every meal was filled with such flavour. Santani gave us everything we needed to truly sought to reconnect and release going into the new year. It’s a place that feels magical, and we can’t wait to come back.

    Spacious hotel with a nice view. Beautiful, large rooms. Nice swimming pool. Helpful, friendly staff. They arranged a great trip to Knuckles Range for us (a *very* demanding and rewarding hike up a waterfall) that we all loved, including our kids (12 and 14), despite the leeches.

    The Resort is even better than the pictures! We checked in late in the evening and had a tasty Sri Lankan dinner. The room was spacious, well furnished and had a small clean balcony. The view of the tea gardens from the balcony were beautiful. They have a large swimming pool, gym and a hot tub at the terrace area which is open 24/7. Food was good, esp. the Sri Lankan dishes. The staff was really sweet and welcoming.

    Nice hotel overlooking the Mahaweli River and surrounded by plenty of greenery. Outdoor areas and the 2 swimming pools are very pleasant. So are the restaurant's terraces. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Attention is paid to the slightest detail: bathroom products, decoration, water glasses with flies, beautiful pillows, etc. We really appreciated the outdoor shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful. comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Nice swimming pool. The surroundings of the hotel are magnificent.
