Great location, the staff are all very friendly and the guest house has everything you need for a comfortable stay (with a generator in case of load shedding). Awesome breakfast and the beds are super comfy. The owner was always available and went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Our hosts have thought about how to create a peaceful, welcoming space to stay, whether just passing through or as a destination vacation. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and we enjoyed the indoor outdoor flow. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We watched the light fade sitting on comfortable chairs on the covered stoop.

It is located a very short drive away from the center of town, so close to everything Clarens has to offer. We had the main house and a smaller room adjacent to the house. It was perfect for our group. The main house had everything you could need and perfect for self-catering. Lindsey was super easy to communicate with and she was very attentive during our stay. We collected the keys at the brewery and couldn't help but to try the local Clarens brew and have a meal at the same time. Delicious! We will definitely stay at the Stoke House on our future travels through Clarens and the Golden Gate Park!
