Not a hotel or motel! All these “cabins” actually are duplexes with a 1 or 2 bedroom “house” on one side and room more like a motel room on the other. Outside there are picnic tables, fire pit ready to light, ping pong, elk!! , and the location is just a quick short drive to the Redwoods. They are comfortable, clean and the studio has a big table for meal prep and eating, mini frig and a microwave. Parking is great.. like at home can park in your driveway.

Situated in Orick in the California region, Elk Meadow Cabins Ranch Site Oreq-B has a garden. The cottage was clean, charming and filled with thoughtful details. It definitely felt like a "home". We loved the back patio access and view of the meadow. We enjoyed being able to make dinner and breakfast in the kitchen. We were up early enough to watch the sunrise, do some bird watching and see two bull elk grazing.
