Super nice place with plenty of things to do and many places where to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The pictures did not do justice and i thought it actually looked nicer than on the photos. The family who owns the place was super nice and friendly. Very cute and I loved this place.

Everything! The decor of the manor, the rooms and the restaurant were all brilliantly appointed. It felt like we were in a Latvian fairytale. The hotel hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Dinner was tasty, but Breakfast was awesome!!! Absolute must is to try their beer. We enjoyed their new Gose beer with Himalayan Pink Salt and Coriander

I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)

Central Station er staðsett í Daugavpils, 1,3 km frá Daugavpils Olympic Centre og 1,2 km frá Daugavpils Church Hill, á svæði þar sem hægt er að fara í gönguferðir. Simple, clean apartment fully equipped. A lot of light and a feeling of openness toward the outside. Third floor. No lift. This is not a complaint, I only offer that to make others aware, because some have trouble climbing the stairs.

Silene Resort & SPA Egles Villa er staðsett í Silene, 24 km frá Daugavpils Ice Arena, og býður upp á fjölbreytta aðstöðu, svo sem verönd, veitingastað og bar. We reserved our whole stay at the Egles Villa, but on the first night of our stay there was a wedding and we were kindly offered to stay at Ziedu Villa which is located at the other part of the complex, near the lake. Both the Ziedu Villa and Egles Villa exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was so plentiful, we barely needed any food until dinner :) All the staff that we came in contact with was kind, forthcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the SPA, the atmosphere around the complex, the free transfer between the parts of the Resort and the cat Silva who you can see in one of the photos.
