Partly renovated Ryukyu house with a calm and quiet environment. It still has all its charms. I would also recommend it for a longer stay. The kitchen is well equipped. You can barbecue in the garden and there are fishing rods hidden in the closet. Watch movies, using a projector, while curling up on the sofa. Feels like a childhood memory. The supermarket BIG Express is about 1 km away. Also Gorilla Chop beach with its beautiful coral reefs, which is one of the best choices for beginner snorkelers. Have a nice walk to Anchi Beach on Sesoko island and enjoy the magnificent view of the turquoise waters. If you want to take a better look at the surrounding area you will need a rent-a-car. Your host will be helpful to provide you all the information you need, do not hesitate to ask. We had a really great time and hope to visit Motobu again in the future. There is so much to explore! Geckos and ryukyu flying foxes are quite active in the garden so if you do not love the wildlife near to you this house is not your choice. We loved it however!

Amazing to stay with the family in this well-maintained 100-year old building with a garden in front, we feel like we were in the cartoon. The place is spacious and you can enjoy staying in tatami. Parking available within the property, convenient store/supermarket would be within 5 mins drive.

Our host, Lily was incredibly friendly and responded quickly to any of our inquiries. The breakfast was delicious, consisting of local fruits and homemade sweet potato bread. The river trek was refreshing and a cool way to see a few small waterfalls.

This was even better than we expected. The attention to details for the decorations and facilities. The location was very pleasant with view of the bay. The patio was great. We would have loved to stay longer. About 2 km away is a great Sri Lankan restaurant so we didn't have to go far for a great meal.
