What a strange little gem. We were very impressed. The house is built from containers, but is impressively usable. Well equipped, both in the kitchen, terrace and beach equipment. Cozy little quiet town. Shopping and restaurants are a little bit of a distance away, so do your shopping on the way there and enjoy the house, view and beach. Highly recommendable. Nice and friendly host.

Guesthouse Yashima, a property with a garden, is located in Takamatsu, 1.8 km from Naritasanshodaiji Temple, 2.2 km from Shiraha Shrine, as well as 2.8 km from Yakuri-ji Temple. The hosts are really nice, including the cats! We got to meet two of the cats Milk and Clover who came to chill with us in our room. The house has a lot of charm and personality, and is cared for with love and attention. It was really clean too. The house is next to train tracks so you will hear the trains and signal for passing trains, but that did not bother us. There are two train stations within walking distance (10-15 min walks), so coming from Takamatsu station should not be an issue. Would stay again for sure.

一棟貸しの朋友 is a recently renovated guest house in Zentsuji, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi.... The location was perfect for our visit to Zentsuji, where my grandfather was held as a prisoner during the World War II. Also close to restaurants and shops for convenience.

I enjoyed having everything on site and feeling comfortable with the cleanliness and being able to use almost anything. The views from the room were also nice. Very lovely lady who helped with everything and I could reach her on the phone. I liked the quaint bathroom! It also had a great view! There are also great extras like the big sofa, the tables for four or more people, the little manga/book library and a big fridge, microwave, and dishes and cutlery you can use. I enjoyed my stay. I can really recommend to other cyclists, groups, and families. Easily to pay via Paypay for me.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in this modern Japanese 'ryokan'. I like the design of each part of the place. It's so relaxing the moment we stepped in. We're able to enjoy the excellent sushi set with a private sushi chef and we also liked the outdoor onsen. My husband and my 6-month old baby were really happy that we chose this place as our last night in Takamatsu. We will definitely recommend to our friends and we will come back again.
