Our stay at Hotel Laxa was fantastic! The room was compact yet functional and the view of the lake and mountains was magnificent! The tasty breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and the team was quick to clear tables and efficiently manage the buffet. The hotel staff’s exceptional hospitality added a personal touch to our experience.

Tjörn is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. Olga , the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Kitchen was fully equipped. Bed was comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean. House is very cozy and has lots of nice vintage details.

Boasting garden views, Akurinn Residence is set in Akureyri, around 600 metres from Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall. What wonderful accommodation! Beautifully designed and styled spacious apartment with the best bed I ever slept in. The interior is very clean and beautifully arranged. We were so happy with our stay that we stayed again on our way back! We cannot recommend this place enough 💕

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Helen was very accommodating and the facilities were very comfortable.

Grásteinn Guesthouse features a private beach area, garden, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Þórshöfn. This guest house provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Everything was perfect. It was our best catch from our Iceland trip so far and Hildur made a big breakfast with fresh baked bread for us. It's an amazing place and we'll definitely come back one day!

Located in Varmahlid in the North Iceland region, Midsitja features a patio and mountain views. The property has river and garden views. We love the location as it is so peaceful and the view from our Patio is awesome. At the back is the mountain with the horses. And a sweet dog and approachable host. Horses are super friendly too.
