It was one of the cleanest places I've stayed at and the staff were super kind. Loved the views from my room, the beautiful pets and the really yummy homely food. The common areas were beautifully set up. Zami was a wonderful host and helped me with everything I needed. They have an amazing cafe with events almost every evening. The food there is exceptional and it gave me the opportunity to meet new people. Overall I would definitely stay here again when I visit Sikkim.

We had the best experience possible at this amazing property. The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations. 100% recommended to everyone. Loved the way the property has been designed and maintained. The food was superb. We also got excellent recommendations for the day trips at Gangtok. Overall, it was a superb experience staying at Kengbari and I wish we could stay longer!!

The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

The host is truly wonderful. She is so friendly and attentive to any request - always going above and beyond - and as a UK traveller it was also really helpful that her English was immaculate. The room is one of the best I've stayed in after 4 months of travelling, and is the best value for money. Everything is to a really high standard, from the quality of bed and spaciousness of room, to the amazing power and heat of the shower. A must stay - in fact, I came back again because I enjoyed it so much.
