I kept extending and ended up staying there for more than a week. Niaz is super nice and he really loves to help you with whatever question you throw at him, even taking you to places himself. Luckily Niaz' friend was staying there at the same time who cooked for us every evening, which contributed even more to this really nice community feeling. We celebrated Holi Festival and went to temple festivals together and Niaz let us paint flags on the house, which I loved. The rooms were clean, you can use the kitchen and there's a rooftop where you can hang out or do some yoga. Plenty of space up there. Loved it !

This honestly is well managed and clean. The staff is very kind and efficiently helped us with bike rent and laundry. The room was clean and comfortable.

Robin and Rino are great hosts - hospitable and welcoming. They provide a very useful list of everything you need to know while staying there - right down to directions to the house in Malayalam for a tuk tuk driver. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location beside a canal. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

Mellow Ladies Hostel i Varkala erbjuder boende endast för vuxna med en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. I loved every minute there! Beach is 5 minutes walk from the property in a friendly neighborhood. Eventhough hot water was not provided, I didn't miss it at all. Cold shower was refreshing and cooling.The young lady in the bistro was very friendly and helpful. Indian food is too hot and spicy for me, so I was glad to have the option to choose some more european meal in the bistro. It was yummy! Thanks for everything!

SANTA MARIA HOSTEL MUNROE ISLAND ligger i Munroe Island och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en gemensam lounge och en restaurang. Utöver rumsservice har detta boende även en bowlinghall. Santa Maria Hostel is a nice place to chill in the nature and get to know local or international travellers. It is a bit isolated, but in a good way: not bothered from the outer world, but Apu, the hostelguy helped us to have any needs: he brought us foods, drinks, ordered cab or boat, and so on. And was good that he also easily hang out with us, made us feeling at home. Room was okay, lake view is amazing.

After 2 days there it was like almost like being at home. Family is really nice and helpful, also I liked to spend time at evenings with all neighbours :) I even had a birthday surprise! I'll definitely stay there again if I go again to Alleppey

Hammock Beach Home ligger 4 minuters promenad från Alleppey strand i Alleppey och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. It was clean, comfortable and the host Mohammed was so attentive and helpful. He helped us out with the backwaters tour and anything else we needed. The location was great too with cafes just around the corner and the beach across the road.

Crossroads Hostel 1957 ligger i Wayanad, 18 km från Heritage Museum, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Clean, comfortable, great get- away- from- everything location. The best staff! Meals on-site were delicious, too, and there's a hammock and a dog. It's not a vibing backpacker hostel, but I really enjoyed my stay here
