On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. We liked everything: spacious room, view from the window, excellent restaurant, trad music in the bar during the first evening, good lounge area to play chess or talk. It is a short drive to Kylemore, Diamond Hill, and Cliffden. This was the best and cheapest hotel during our stay in Ireland.

The coffee, tea, milk and biscuits were a lovely personal touch that made us feel at home. We stayed in the wooden pod and it was gorgeous and very roomy and comfortable and provided a peaceful escape from hectic everyday life. 100% would recommend to everyone and will be staying again without question. Bernadette is an amazing host and she made me, and my girlfriend feel so welcome. We stayed for two nights and had the most perfect time. The living room area is so cozy, and the view of the sea is unmatched. Great walking distance to the cliffs of Moher and Doolin is just a short drive from here. When we left, we forgot a raincoat and Bernadette was kind enough to ship it back to the U.S. for us :)
