This place is consistently great which is why we keep returning again and again. Stephanie has everything running to perfection. The location is brilliant for walking in the area. The accomodation itself has everything on the doorstep. Restaurant, pubs, breakfast cafe and the shops in the main street.

England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and boasts sea views and good food. We have liked absolutely everything - the staff, the location, the beautiful room, views out of our window. Everything has been just amazing and we highly recommend it to everyone.

At first I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t staying inside the castle (this was clearly pointed out at the time of booking, I just missed it). However my room on the grounds was fantastic and after having drinks, dinner and breakfast in the castle, as well as taking the 10.15am castle tour (highly recommended), I really felt like I’d had the full Langley Castle experience. I only stayed one night on my way through the area but I can’t wait to return. Don’t hesitate to book this place, it’s a gem.

Located in Wooler, Arlington House Hotel - Self Check-In Suites is a recently renovated accommodation, 26 km from Bamburgh Castle and 27 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema. On arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room. The room was very modern and furnished to a high standard with a little kitchenette. The hotel is in the centre of Wooler, we found parking easily and were able to walk to local bars and restaurants.

Situated in Hexham, 34 km from MetroCentre, The Coach and Horses has a shared lounge, a bar and a tennis court. The staff were fantastic from Check In to Check Out. The location was fantastic & the food served excellent.

A recently renovated apartment situated in Hexham, The Vault at Westacres features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The Vaults what a gem tucked just off the road. Cosy place to stay well equipped not far from Hexham town centre. We had a lovely stay and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back to stay.
