This 18th-century hotel is set in the centre of South Molton. It mixes original character with modern comforts and has log fires, free Wi-Fi, free parking and en suite rooms with flat-screen TVs. Everything was perfect. Friendly, helpful staff; excellent breakfast - we especially enjoyed the tasty smoked salmon with scrambled egg but were able to test every option on the menu during our stay and all were superb. Comfortable spacious room.

The Ley Arms is set in Exeter, 11 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, 16 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, as well as 6.2 km from Powderham Castle. Great location 15 minutes from the airport, in an exceptionally beautiful part of England. I had a lovely walk on the public paths in the hills before dinner. Cosy, lovely, pub, great staff, beautiful and comfortable suite. The food and drinks in the pub were super, too. I had dinner and breakfast here.

Situated in Bideford, Scandi-Style Cabin in Bideford, Private Parking is a recently renovated accommodation, 1.7 km from Lundy Island and 4.1 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club. Absolutely fantastic, everything you needed was available, it was clean and tidy and in a very nice area. The owners although we rarely saw them were lovely.

Situated in Braunton and only 25 km from Lundy Island, The Den - A modern, quirky room, new for 2023. Features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely Den with everything needed to enjoy a night away.

Seaside guest house a stone"s throw from the beach, a property with a garden, is set in Dawlish, 2.4 km from Teignmouth Town Beach, 2.7 km from Red Rock Beach, as well as 12 km from Newton Abbot... A lovely little studio with nicely stocked facilities. The sheets were lovely and soft, the bed very comfortable. There was a TV which we used to snuggle and watch a film on in the evening as it had Netflix access (may have also had others, we didn't check past Netflix). Everything was very clean and I always got a quick response if I needed help. Also, the scones, jam and cream in the fridge was a lovely surprise. I couldn't recommend this little place enough.

Self catering. However there is a fantastic restaurant on site. Plenty of options and decent prices too! Would recommend. It was a very quiet place to stay, with great facilities and a lovely setting.

The Mary Tavy Inn has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Tavistock. The property is set 8.5 km from Lydford Castle, 13 km from Morwellham Quay and 18 km from Cotehele House. Super nice hotel with new layout in an ild fashioned, but fashinable way. Rooms are pretty, clean and comfortable. Restaurant is comfy with many fake fire places and inviting to stay for a game of chess. Outside lovely view and garden. Food in the restaurant was really delicious.
