Hôtel Plagepalace is located on the beach in Palavas-les-Flots and Carnon. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a 27 metres heated outdoor pool. Everything was perfect. One of the best hotels ever (and I’ve been in thousands). Staff super friendly, location perfect, room perfect. Don’t change anything!!

Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral. Superb, high quality hotel in all respects. Staff at reception very helpful, waiters and waitresses in the hotel restaurant equally professional. Excellent menu and excellent breakfasts. The best hotel dinners and breakfasts I've had in any hotel in France over the past 10 years. The rooms are spacious with equally spacious and well fitted bathrooms. Beds super comfy. Garage parking for an extra payment for motorcycle which was especially useful as it rained every day and most nights!

This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from La Citè de Carcassonne. It is situated in an old, beautiful villa. Breakfast was very good.

Set in a building dating from the 15th century, La Villa Mazarin is located in the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes. It offers a terrace and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. All the staff, particularly Cecil, demonstrated real care for our stay. We loved the little touches for our dog, too. Finally, Clare's massage was the best!
