We were able to check in a little early. I called and asked prior to booking to make sure early check in was an option. The room was very large. They could put additional seating in there with the extra space.

The King Suite was incredible. It was like having an apt. The living area had a couch and comfortable chair with ottoman, entertainment center with TV, microwave, frig and coffee machine. It had an office or study area as well as a dining area with office chairs. The bathroom was accessible. Then there was a separate room with king bed, dresser, end tables and TV. The most charming part was that on the walls were Kansas City landmark pictures. They had pictures of the shuttlecock at the art museum, Union Station, KC skyline, etc. It was beautiful!

The hotel is near the airport and was VERY busy that night, but the staff was frendly and has clearly handled large crowds before as they were expeditious getting me through and into my room after a 13-hour drive across the plains. The location - FOR ME - was not the best, but it would be fine for most folks. Highly recommend the stay and will stay again if I'm in the area.
