We spent 2 nights in this beautiful house and I cannot recommend it enough. The space is not that big but it is really well organised. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked our own food there. Right outside there is also a washing machine which was super convenient. If you come with a car there is a parking spot right outside and it is also possible to use the bikes but we did not have time for it unfortunately.
The area where the apartment is located is also very quiet which made for a great night sleep. The communication with the host was perfect and there is a very convenient self check in mechanism.
Overall this accommodation deserves all the stars I could give. 100% recommended if you are staying in Okayama!

We had a great stay at toranjyo lit, a traditional ryokan house. It is simple but has everything you need and it’s very charming. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, giving us tips how to structure our nioshima/teshima trip and picking us up from the bus stop.

A beautifully designed and decorated house in a remote location overlooking the sea. The rooms were large and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen that was really helpful as stores and markets are a little ways away.

It felt like a home, it was wide enough for 4 people and it had everything we needed.
Decoration was like in the photos, so if you want that real house vibe it is a nice place.
Offering a variety of animal-ready amenities, these properties promise a great stay for pets and people. Services can include sitting services, specialized bedding, and dog-walking. Some hotels even offer fun perks like a gourmet room service menu for pets, as well as catnip and scratching posts.
Hotel staffs are helpful and polite. Location is great, easily reached by walking through the underground shopping street from Okayama Station. The streets nearby are full of different types of restaurants, very convenient to find favourable style of dishes.
It was in a really good location, and the staff were very friendly! Good assortment of amenities and the price was amazing! It was also very spacious for the twin room.
The hotel is very well located next to Okayama station. The hotel is modern but in need of an update. Carpets in hallways were worn/dirty and the restaurant looked a little dated. Great views from the top floor.
Very good location! I can walk from the JR Okayama rail station via the shopping centre and then through the lobby of another hotel to Mitsui Garden Hotel. The price of the hotel is very competitive. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful, and they can speak good English. I would recommend it to other travelers traveling by JR train.
We did not take the breakfast . Location was convenient, walking distance from Okayama station.
There was a petite pottery museum at the lift lobby leading to the room was an interesting idea.
