To accommodate our family of five, we took two rooms which included three beds and three bathrooms. We had plenty of room!! It was cold (early January) but there were plenty of thick blankets and the showers were hot. There is a nice restaurant area downstairs. There is a menu and the family will cook anything you want on the spot. We ate there a few times and it was excellent. Digvijay will help you organise what you need for the bird sanctuary. For us, we could (just) fit in a single tuk-tuk (they are all electric now) with a driver who was also very knowledgeable about birds. We did not take a guide. We went for five hours, starting at 8am on a foggy morning. There are heaps of birds. The driver was excellent. One of our main goals was to see a black-necked stork and, after a few hours, he spotted one for us (there are plenty of painted storks!). Overall, we were very happy staying at this guesthouse.
