Lyndale House, hotel in Bamford

Situated in Bradwell, in a historic building, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, Lyndale House is a bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace.

The couple who run it were great. We couldn't get a meal at the pub across the road (didn't realise they'd be packed out), so we ended up with fish and chips from down the road, brought it back and ended up eating dinner with the hosts. Great conversation and interesting to hear about the district and surrounds.

Fabulous little break away at Georgies cottage, so many nice touches. Our dog was instantly settled. Great location for walking. Easy drive to pubs and restaurant's and the Yorkshire Bridge Inn was a few minutes walk down the road. I would definitely stay again next time in the Peaks.

Lovely modern hotel with all you need for a good nights sleep. Comfortable bed, good pillows, mini bar if you want it, Wi-Fi worked great and bathroom was just what’s needed. The location of the hotel is handy and parking is easy, plenty of spaces. I love that it’s so dog friendly! Breakfast was pretty decent but there could be more option.
