Beautiful setting straight out of a fairy tale! The staff was wonderful, the accommodations, while rustic and simple, were extremely charming and everything worked as it should. I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool amidst the dreamy patio and gardens, fruit trees, and even a historic church on site. The breakfast was well worth the price and even the onsite dog staff added so much to this wonderful experience. Thank you for keeping such a lovely place.

Cool little castle in Besalu equipped with a very nice breakfast, friendly staff, a library and a funny castle cat. Room is big and has everything you need and parking is just next door. Directly at the old bridge to visit Besalu
Lovely room, clean and very comfortable beds with a great balcony overlooking the bridge and town. The common areas were lovely, full of history. The staff were very welcoming and it's very dog friendly. Besalu is beautiful, well worth a visit.
We travelled with a dog and the staff were really accommodating and although the location was isolated the collection of dog owners meant that there was a real friendly feel.
The location, easy parking and pet friendliness. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good water pressure in the shower. Fridge in the room, as well as a coffee machine. Free bottles of water. Faded grandeur of the salon and the library, with amazing floor tiles everywhere was very charming. The receptionist was very welcoming.
I loved that I could just walk around the whole property , the library, the sitting room, terraces, garden. Just stunning!
My room had a great view of the famous bridge. The bed and pillows where perfect. Our room had a sofa, coffee maker (really good coffee), nice size room and bathroom.
Breakfast was good you can eat it inside or on one of the terraces. Not to mention all day free coffee and tea :).
The place is pet friendly, which my dog really enjoyed...
Oh and last, but not least the staff is amazing! Made us feel right at home...
Everything was excellent! Very dog friendly ☺️(I loved the little detail of putting some dog treats to the bowl that was waiting for our dog in the room!) The breakfast was great as well
