Ngalali Retreat ligger i naturreservatet Grietjie, 26 km fra Phalaborwa-porten til Kruger Nationalpark. We arrived at the Ngalali Retreat after a long drive and Xander and staff helped us feel at home immediately. After a hearty lunch Xander introduced us to our first safari experience of the African bush. Xander is a true naturalist who, over the course of the next few days, generously shared his knowledge, passion and experience of the land and wildlife that surrounded us. At the end of each day Xander joined us for exceptional Italian cuisine and helped us to process the days adventures with interesting anecdotes of his own. Our day in the actual Kruger Park paled in comparison. The Ngalali Retreat accommodations were very comfortable with all the comforts of home. What can I say - we slept well each night and arose rested, with fresh anticipation. The whole experience more than exceeded our expectation.

Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps - Mantobeni har udsigt til haven og tilbyder indkvartering med infinity-pool og terrasse, ca. 44 km fra Orpen Gate. I loved my stay at Honeyguide. Everything was beyond my expectation and made my trip magical. The staff and drivers are great, they are very friendly and warm and make you feel like at home. The location is awesome. They are a private reserve, but there is no fence, so animals from other reserve can roam here, and you might get a chance to see them. Also, they can go off-road which makes the games so much more interesting. We saw everything except the leopard. The pool at the main area is a huge attraction. The elephants regularly visited the pool to drink water when we were staying, and we got a chance to see them very close. The tents are very comfortable with heating mattress (helpful for colder nights).

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Beautiful location overlooking the valley, with lots of animals wandering around. Exceptional staff - very helpful and attentive. The property was kept impeccably clean. The food was incredible and plentiful. The drinks were very well priced. Loved the game drives - saw the big 5 in the first couple of drives! Very special evening celebrating my mums birthday with a cake prepared. Glen was especially helpful with all needs. Overall fantastic stay and could not recommend highly enough!

My fiancée and I had 3 spectacular days at Muweti Lodge! Mike, Laura, Neil and staff are extraordinary people! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, we felt as if we were at home or visiting our parents' house because the reception and care they showed us were exceptional! They truly care about each guest's well-being and how everyone is feeling. We have dietary restrictions. Every meal was served considering our restrictions. Regarding the lodge, the experience of being immersed in the savanna is indescribable! The room is very comfortable and spacious, with a comfy bed, a very nice bathroom, and a balcony with an amazing view. You can see some many animals from within the property! They provide game drives twice a day, and it was incredible. We saw many animals! On the game drives their focus is always on providing the best experience for the guests! The meals were very good and diverse! Every night a campfire was lit and all people at place had a good moments! We hope to return to Muweti soon! We are already recommending the place to everyone who asks us about our experiences in South Africa!
