Dayton Dream has an excellent location close to Newark Airport if you’re just in transit like I was. The owner was there greeting upon arrival and showed me the room, bathroom and as an unexpected add on the coffee/tea corner, where they also had a fridge stocked with fresh fruits of the season, some butter and cream cheese for the biscuits etc. It was clean and quiet and I had a good night’s sleep.

Located in Asbury Park, 100 metres from Asbury Park Beach, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The hotel is stunning, as was our room. It's so private and wasn't too busy while we were there mid May. Staff are amazing, right from the minute we walked through the door, we were made to feel so welcome. Bathroom was lovely, fantastic facilities. The shower was great, loved the fact there was a bath and the toiletries provided were lush. Outside of the hotel, the boardwalk is literally a two minute walk away and there are some great local restaurants. Everyone we met in Asbury Park was really friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Offering a terrace and sea view, The Ocean Plaza Hotel is set in Ocean Grove, 500 metres from Asbury Park Beach and 10 km from Monmouth University. Nice room in a beautiful house with super friendly hosts! Excellent Breakfast on the balcony with a great selection of homemade cooked meals A couple of steps from the beach. Great to have a stroll by the beach or the historic houses! Would have loved to stay for more than one night!
