It was very quiet, although perfectly placed (close to main roads particularly the Garden State Parkway) for exploring the state, especially the Shore. The rear entrance/exit to the car park also made life a lot easier. I had no problems during the stay, so little interaction with the staff, but what I did have was efficient and friendly.

It’s a very pretty house that is beautifully decorated. There is no staff on site. In the lounge you can make your own very good coffee, tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. The first morning we found some yoghurt and granola. The second morning there was no breakfast. We had room 1 and 7. Room 7 is on the top floor, is really large with a good size bathroom. Our adult daughters had room 1. The room was nice, a lot smaller but the bathroom was extremely small. We did like the beach chairs and towels.

It's so private and wasn't too busy while we were there mid May. Staff are amazing, right from the minute we walked through the door, we were made to feel so welcome. Bathroom was lovely, fantastic facilities. The shower was great, loved the fact there was a bath and the toiletries provided were lush. Outside of the hotel, the boardwalk is literally a two minute walk away and there are some great local restaurants. Everyone we met in Asbury Park was really friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!
