Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. the room is so clean, they put 2 piece of welcome chocolate on the bed which was so delicious. I can feel they care about the customer so much. The lobby is so cozy for couple to have a drink. Last but not least, the location of the lodge was totally perfect, we can walk to the lake round 6 mins. I will be back soon absolutely.

They upgraded us to a lake view room. It was amazing. Beautifully designed hotel, lovely artwork and friendly staff. Bedroom was very large and super comfy beds. We had a fireplace and large bath. Food at Brooks Bar was amazing and we loved the whole ambience of the entire hotel. Good location on edge of the main area in south lake tahoe.

Situated in Heavenly Village just steps from Heavenly Resort’s ski gondola, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe offers spacious residences with 42-inch LCD TVs. This is my third stay at the Marriott Grand Residence and I will continue to stay here when I'm in South Lake Tahoe. I was in a one bedroom 2 bath suite with 2 fireplaces, a jetted tub and full kitchen. Laundry facilities were conveniently located down the hall. The rooms were very clean and the staff was amazing. There is a heated pool, 2 hot tubs and a steam room on property. It is also right next to the ski lift and walking distance to many restaurants, shops and casinos are less half a mile down the road.

There are pots and pans in the kitchenette as well as a coffeemaker and a mini fridge and stove top. Communication prior to arrival was fantastic and host offered phone number for communication if needed. Easy entrance into the room and building, with a nice balcony and the coffee shop/deli/convenience store directly across from the apartment.
