Our room was like a luxury accommodation from one of Charles Dickens's novels. Even the breakfast is served thinking how it could be done in a Victorian era. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We only stayed one night after hiking The Lost Coast and wish we would have had more time here. Absolutely perfect place to stay, relax and recover, with a view of The Lost Coast from the window and deck. The outdoor space was my favorite! The cottage is nice, very clean and cozy as it named..the kitchen is well stock..and the owner even offered fresh homemade bread and popcorn..good hot shower..good night sleep after long day hiking in the park...

Hosts extremely helpful /friendly even providing beach chairs ,towels to make use of river beach which was walkable from the cabin. Swimming in river pool possible although river levels low during our visit.Good location for Humbolt Redwoods.
