Staff were professional and polite. They helped us and tried for the best for us. It was our honeymoon and the facility had some special opportunities for honeymoon couples. Foods and drinks were delicious. Climate was perfect. Rooms were very clean. Diving centre was very good. I recommend every person to dive here because diving staff -especially Adam- are very helpful.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. We were looking for a genuine homely place that will give us thw true feeling of Zanzibar. We didnt want to be in a big hotel where we are just a number and our stay was amazing. Max the owner is true gem in hospitality, he really loves hosting and giving you the true Zanzibar experience, the staff is also nice & if you looking to be treated as if you are home Babalao is the place. Theres also great Resturants that Max recommended and we tried them...our favourite was Barack and the "fresh from the sea" seafood barbaque on the beach is an amazing experience. Theres tons of activities at your doorstep and you spoiled for choice and come back to your home fully welcomed and its peaceful like a small "big" family. Thanks Max and your lovely wife for giving us the true Zanzibar holiday experience.

Mahali Zanzibar er í Paje, Zanzibar, og er með einkaströnd, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið og ókeypis WiFi. Hótelið býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir hafið. Everything and everyone were excellent. Only negative was access to the property was difficult but I guess that is normal for the area.

It was an exceptional stay for us. From reception you will get to experience a genuine welcome and everyone welcomes you with a warm welcome and a smile. The staff are the pillars of this facility. They work tirelessly to get beyond what you expect. They are truly exceptional. You only hear Hakuna matata ( no problem) there is one important aspect I have never experienced elsewhere which the human touch, they make you feel it is your home not only a place you are staying for a few days. Staff like Majani, chafi, Gabriel, Loqman, Judith and the best is Hassan they are truly the best staff we have ever met. Thank you for making our stay paradise-like.

Tomek and wife were amazing hosts. Very attentive and made sure our stay was memorable. Rooms with awesome sea views. Nice big pool. Food was really good especially the fresh baked bread 🍞 in the morning. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Will definitely be back.

One of the features I truly appreciated was the mosquito and insect screens on the doors and windows, ensuring a bug-free environment throughout my stay. The hotel itself is new, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. Towels were changed daily, and the room was freshened up every day, which added to the overall comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile. They were eager to assist with anything I needed, making the experience even more enjoyable. The garden and pool area were beautifully maintained, providing a serene and picturesque setting for relaxation. The owner was always present on-site and clearly dedicated to ensuring guests had a comfortable stay. Despite the island's limited resources, the hotel offered a seamless experience with reliable water, electricity, and excellent Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zanzibar. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, quality service, and cultural charm.
