Boutique B&B Dolce Due is set in Assendelft, 20 km from A'DAM Lookout, 21 km from Amsterdam Central Station, as well as 22 km from Anne Frank House. We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

Boasting a garden and views of river, Saenliefde is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Wormer, 19 km from A'DAM Lookout. If you are ok to walk abt 15 minutes to train or catch a taxi this is the best out of many places we stayed during our 4 weeks holiday in Europe tour, much better than the star class hotel's we stayed, breakfast was amazing, served to your table by Margreett and Ronald, very friendly and gives you all the info you need. Easy access to central station just less than 20 minutes and airport approx 40 minutes train ride, located out of the busy city and in a nice area next to the river, shops and restaurants near by, can't find a fault or anything negative.

Boasting a sauna, De oude slaght- luxe suite met buitensauna is situated in Zaandam. The property has garden views and is 14 km from A'DAM Lookout and 15 km from Amsterdam Central Station. We love the hot tub!! Gabrielle is extremely helpful and made us yummy welcome snacks. The room was comfortable, clean, stylish and very functional.

Heerlijck Slaapen is set amidst the monumental windmills of the Zaanse Schans national park. It offers classically styled rooms with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV. Warm hospitality from gentle and friendly staff (Ms.Sharon) who fluently English communication and tons of Ams attractive points and activity suggestion. The impressive original Dutch house with magnificent Zaan river view. The whole house is extremely clean in every corner and feels comfortable like home. Overall is higher than my expectation in quiet and calm location surrounding real antique community with convenient transportation. If I have the chance to go to north Halland again, I certainly won’t stay in the other place.

Located in Wormer, Prachtig authentiek woonschip uit 1912, 15 minuten van Amsterdam provides accommodation with a heated pool, a terrace and lake views. The space we rented is the old living quarter of the skipper on a vintage barge, including the wheelhouse, which is turned into a pleasant comfortable veranda. There is a nice living room and an intimate, comfortable bedroom, so pleasant to stay in. The view over the Zaan canal, to the old city is charming. One can park the car just in front of the gangway, which is a plus. We came to the Netherlands, especially for this barge and we did like it as an experience. The owners were so pleasant to deal with, always reachable on the phone and so helpful during our stay. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Welkom bij 5 is set in Den Ilp, 11 km from Rembrandt House, 11 km from Artis Zoo, and 12 km from Dam Square. A well-equipped apartment for a family stay, with all the accessories for an extended stay. Excellent location close to many sites. There is a supermarket nearby.

Single room in a private home is a recently renovated homestay in Zaandam, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The host was exceptionally friendly and generous, making our stay very comfortable. The space was impeccably clean, and even though the room is within the house, it still felt very private.
