Really lovely, peaceful grounds with excellent (but unobtrusive) staff. Our game driver was excellent and the buffet meals were all exceptionally tasty (including the Kenyan coffee on offer…the best we have even at more expensive safari camps/lodges). The watering hole is a highlight and the grounds are beautiful.

If your thinking you’re going glamping your wrong! This bubble offers all the comfort of a good hotel! It was a unique, beautiful experience! You have a well-equipped kitchen. You can buy fruit and vegetables at the nearby market and you will experience the most romantic shower before you wait for a night full of star glancing right out of your bed! The hike with Jay to the waterfalls alone would be worth a trip. If you want a safari trip as well, the operator Steven who Sarah recommends offers the best way around the national parks! You feel very safe and well looked after! We can recommend the accommodation 100%.

Offering a garden and garden view, Ilala House, Voi - 2 bed, 2 bath is located in Voi, 3.7 km from Voi Railway Station and 47 km from Taita Hills. We had an excellent three-day, two-night stay at Illala. Despite checking in late, Jane patiently waited for us, and her communication was excellent throughout our stay. Additionally, they recommended an excellent local tour company, Msherembe Safari and Travels, for a half-day trip costing only 13,000 KSH. We also had Mtalaki, a local taxi driver, who was kind enough to pick us up, drop us off, and wait while we bought groceries. I would definitely stay at Illala again on my next trip to Tsavo East National Park, which is just a 4-minute drive from Illala to the main gate.

With mountain views, Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp is located in Ziwani and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. Enchanted location. Crocs and hippo feet away during dinner. Walking safari and night game drives were fantastic.

Set in Voi, 22 km from Voi Railway Station, Tausa Tsavo Eco Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We really enjoyed our stay at the Eco Lodge, particularly all the freshly cooked food from the locally grown fruit & veg. The chef also prepared a special dinner for us with ugali. We also booked day trips to Tsavo East and West with them - both long days but with plenty of animals, including birds, to see. We had a very friendly driver (Robert) and the lunch pack was genorouse (one pack would have been enough for the two of us). The rooms are basic but very clean and in a lovely green surrounding.

Staff was very kind and helpful, location pure fantastic on the river bank. The crocodile Henry was guarding us all the time while staying there :))) Food was great.

Everything was amazing… from check in, rooms, service, food …. And the most important the views by the lake with all the animals . Just love it! Totally recommend!
