Located on Miyajima (Itsukushima), Miyajima Guest House Mikuniya offers a Japanese-style accommodation and a small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 20-minute walk away. We felt like home. The staffs are nice and gave us very clear instructions and showed us around the property. The guest house is quiet though central located. Just a few minutes walk to the shrine and the sea. We followed the Google map and walked along the seaside and it’s not difficult to find. We met few friendly deers along the way near the guest house. We will returned soon to revisit this lovely island.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. For oss som ikke er fra Japan så føler vi at dette er autentisk japanske stil. Fra rommene til måltidene. Fint at alle fikk klær som gjorde stilen komplett til middagsservering og frokost.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. Absolutely amazing view from the room, and the room itself was beautifully japanese style and very large. Awesome with a private onsen on the balcony. Very very friendly and approachable staff fluent in English, they gave good recommendations on hiking trails and shopping.

Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Prime location for exploring Miyajima, room is spacious, meals served in room were wonderful. Amazing rooftop lounge with snacks, drinks and view over the famous shrine

Located in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach, Hotel Miyajima Villa provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Rooms had good space. Good location and food was great. We paid for the dinner buffets which had lots of great dishes

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Host were very nice! Excellent stay and delicious meals

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Staff were very prompt and thoughtful, responding to my query immediately and ensuring my food restriction is taken care of. They were attentive and ensured my needs were taken care of. Thank you very much for making me feel at home.

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Yamaichi Bekkan is set in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 700 metres from Five Storey Pagoda. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. It felt like we were at a grandmas place, all in the good way. The food was delicious and it is very convenient located. I strongly recommend!

Ryoso Kawaguchi, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Miyajima, 2.7 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach, 100 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, as well as 300 metres from Itsukushima... Great stay in a historic building with a wonderful view from the top floor. The ryokan is very close to all the sights and is run by a lovely couple. The futons are comfortable and the private Onsen was nice. Breakfast was great, made from fresh local ingredients. Unfortunately no dinner is served on Mondays (we knew this beforehand) and because it was winter no restaurants (that we could find) were open for dinner. The local convenience store was our savior ;-) and after using the microwave at the ryokan to heat things up, we had a lovely meal in our room. If breakfast is anything to go by, we sure will have to come back sometime to try out dinner at the ryokan :-). Staying overnight is a great way to experience the island without the crowds and makes you appreciate the special place it is even more.
