Situado em Takagi, a 11 km do Santuário de Shiogama, o Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL oferece acomodações com ar-condicionado e bar. Compared to some places I've rated a 10, this could be a 12! Amazing value. It's a short walk from the two main stations (around 10 mins) and about a 20 min walk to the famous bridge. The place was modern (seemed recently opened) and was very clean throughout. I had a single room that was really spacious. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet area. Best night's sleep in over a week! The kitchen/ lounge area was also spacious and clean. The owner/ staff were also really friendly and stopped in to have a chat. I wish I could have stayed longer - the cafe/ bar downstairs seemed like a cool place. Highly recommend!

Buffets are splendid value, with Japanese and Western dishes made to order in front of you, self-service international cocktail and wine station, comparable to Turkish-style ultra all inclusive. There is an English menu. Hotel is within walking distance of the JR station, but there are also taxis queuing when a train arrives. Close to attractions in Matsushima Bay. Hotel has a fleet of bicycles and e-bikes for reservation.

The views are one of the best I’ve ever seen! The onsen views are breathtaking. We also booked the private bath and it was perfect! We only had traditional breakfast and it was divine. We loved every minute of our stay here! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!
