It's a short walk from the two main stations (around 10 mins) and about a 20 min walk to the famous bridge. The place was modern (seemed recently opened) and was very clean throughout. I had a single room that was really spacious. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet area. Best night's sleep in over a week! The kitchen/ lounge area was also spacious and clean. The owner/ staff were also really friendly and stopped in to have a chat. I wish I could have stayed longer - the cafe/ bar downstairs seemed like a cool place. Highly recommend!

There is an English menu. Hotel is within walking distance of the JR station, but there are also taxis queuing when a train arrives. Close to attractions in Matsushima Bay. Hotel has a fleet of bicycles and e-bikes for reservation.

A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. The view the room was outstanding! The staff members went above and beyond to help us. My wife has celiac disease and needed special care to be taken with meals and they did an amazing job of providing 2 very large and intricate safe meals each day with no issue.

JR Nigatake Train Station is a 10-minute walk and JR Sendai Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. Relatively close to the station and the facilities were nice. My favorite part, however, was talking with the staff. Everyone, staff and other guests, was super nice and understanding making it my favorite part of my Japan trip so far. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 12 km from Osabe-minato, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. wonderful hospitality in an authentic traditional japanese house. the owners, who leaves in the oposite house, are so kind and eager to help. it is a true guest house, with 3 rooms on the upper floor (fan only), 2 of them are dormitory rooms, and beautiful air conditioned communal space on the 1st floor. the conmunal space is really outstanding, with swing hanging from the ceiling, a fireplace and a traditional section with hearth for coocking. a lot of menga books everywhere. the owners uses google translate to comunicate and have so warm hospitality. when we wanted to go out in the evening it was rainy, so they helped us make take out reservation, and even went out to buy us beers!!! highly recommended experience.
