Everything was top notch. I was able to easily walk into the old village first thing in the morning- it was cool and there were hardly any people about. Just go at 7:00. Stay here, if it’s not booked!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, IL GIARDINETTO di Dilyana is a recently renovated guest house situated in Monterosi, 7 km from Vallelunga. Gem of an apartment. Small but comfortable, clean and very well situated (on the main street). Comfortable twin beds with extra pillows and bedding. Wonderful private outdoor space for relaxing, which makes up for the small unit. Bathroom is tiny but sufficient - Water pressure was good. Dilyana and her husband are very friendly and helpful. Dilyana made us cappucinos and laid out a great breakfast spread.

The hosts met us in person to show us around and hand over the keys. There are two grocery stores and several restaurants and cafes nearby (including an all you can eat sushi place that was not bad!). Within walking distance of the historical area.

I cannot overstate how impressed I was. Stefania took fabulous care of me. She made sure I got there and helped me make it to my next destination. The very essence of hospitality!

The place was really clean, upper end furniture, appliances in kitchen bathroom and bedrooms. They have the best breakfast. There was a lot of variety of cheeses, meats, crackers, yogurts, milk, juices, water, beer cereals and lots of coffee. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was really good. The owner also gave us a ride to Civita and picked us up after.
