The experience was great, the room is clean, the hostel has very nice rooftop to do whatever you want, and you also have kitchen and laundry machine, in addition the hostel does whatever it can against mosquitoes, and the staff are there for every question or recommendation. The location is great walking distance from a lot of places but still not in the super touristy area, also very close to the ferry.

Paddy N Canal Homestay está en Alappuzha y ofrece vistas al río, bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza. En la habitación en casa particular, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Great new homestay right next to the Canal run by three brothers ( and their mother) and they are all very good to deal with. The room was spotless, like brand new, everything was very tidy with a comfy mattress and the smell of freshly laundered sheets and towels. The mother cooks lovely food and they do a Kerala breakfast option. The fridge has treats you can buy if you want a snack and there's free tea and coffee. Hot water whenever you want. AC in the room but we didn't use it with a great fan pushing the air around. Robin the youngest brother runs everything so well and is easy to contact with any questions, his English is really good and he helped us organise a boat trip with Saiju around the canals and backwaters in his little boat with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. What a lovely guy he was and he picked us up and dropped us off right at the front door of the homestay! There is no high pressure sales at all, The homestay has a book you can look through with different activities if you want. The brothers have a lot of local knowledge having grown up locally. We wanted dinner one night and were too tired to go out so Robin ordered us in food from a local restaurant. Another night Robin pointed us towards a local restaurant (Thamina) that just did Kerala food which was awesome and so cheap ! We extended our stay and ate here twice.

Highly recommend - the building itself is very beautiful but the dorm is very comfortable, clean, spacious and the host is super helpful. Lots of nice hangout areas to relax and read your book. Easy walking distance to the restaurants / cafes and the beach. We wished we stayed longer!

Mellow Ladies Hostel, en Varkala, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante. It's a really great dorm. super clean, comfortable, and maximum privacy thanks to very clever solutions. Perfect for traveling solo. An additional advantage - very good food and well-kept common areas. I highly recommend this place.

Flora Misty Falls Athirappilly está en Athirappilly y tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Wonderfull property with a very supportive staff specially the manager in-charge was so keen to ensure and make sure the best comfort through out the stay! Highly recommend for a get away calm stay with the best possible view of waterfall! Thanks a lot to all staff and specially to the Manager!

Mountain View homestay felt like a little safe sanctuary - a calm space to base yourself while exploring and enjoying all the wonderful things in Kumily or equally to just relax and recuperate after months of travel. We felt so welcomed and at home we didn’t want to leave. The wonderful hosts will help organise various activities or answer any questions. We did yoga on the rooftop with Sophie which was lovely. It’s really a special place to visit

Zostel Kochi (Ernakulam) está en Ernakulam, a 14 km de Bienal de Kochi, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. The hostel was very clean, everything was new and worked well. It was nicely furnished. There was warm water in shower. Lot of space in the room and common area. The common area seemed good for socializing. There wasn't a kitchen but a place to eat your own food and wash your dishes. Air conditioning worked well in the room. There was a television in the common area from which you could probably watch movies. There was nice music in common area. The place was peaceful. I could leave my luggages in the hostel for few hours after checking out. There was a small cafe from where you could buy drinks like coffee, juices and maybe some cutted fruits.
