Say it bad luck, our car broke down on the 2nd day of our stay and we didn't have the choice to drive back the car on our own. They gladly agreed to park the car at their place till the towing truck comes for rescue. I would recommend any one coming to Menchukha for their Great hospitality and they are all out there for you in times of trouble. They guided us about local festivities and we were able to attend 2 of those - a music competition and Dalai Lama's nobel peace prize anniversary celebrations at monastery.
