Puerta Azul ligger ved stranden i Roatan-regionen, 46 km fra Utila og blot en kort svømmetur fra Det Amerikanske Rev. Nogle af værelserne har opholdsområde, hvor man kan slappe af. Puerta Azul, it's a lovely place to stay in Roatan! I would not want to stay anywhere else. Our cottage/house was perfect, clean, stylish, and beautiful! The main house and the rest of the cottages were surrounded by unique plants and palm trees that gave plenty of privacy. The windows have screens, so bugs and mosquitoes were never a problem. Mosquitoes weren't a huge issue anyway. Some sand flies, but that is common across the whole Island. We were greeted with delicious coffee and an even more delightful breakfast every morning! I didn't know you could serve eggs in so many ways! The ingredients were fresh and of fantastic quality. The beach was located a few steps away from our house, with fantastic access to the reef. Reef, including Spooky Channel, is worth swimming too! We could see beautiful tropical fish. Once, we saw an eagle ray off the dock. There are hammocks at the end of the extended deck that we enjoyed a lot as well. Additionally, you can grab a kayak and explore the shoreline. Antony Key's is a few paddles away, from where you can see the dolphins kept in captivity. Since we wanted to visit many other places on the Island, we rented a car and were glad about it. I highly recommend doing it, because it allows you to explore more local foods and scenery. However, whenever we came back from West End, West Bay or other places, we were grateful for the peaceful and quiet Puerta Azul place. To sum up, I recommend staying at Puerta Azul. Talia, Augusta and the rest of the wonderful crew will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Thank you for all your support!

Someone picked us up from the ferry and helped get us settled. The room was beautiful and well laid out so it felt spacious. The beds were really nice!

The camper is beautiful, with all necessary amenities and very comfortable. The outside area is super with lots of seating, the fire pit was brilliant and we cooked up a storm on the grill! The location is fantastic - literally on the beach with beautiful waters to swim and snorkel in - there were so many varieties of fish even very close to the shore! The camper is a short walk to the West End with many restaurants/bars etc, but is far enough away to be beautifully quiet at night and dark enough for proper star-gazing. The hosts were incredibly helpful with information about both the camper itself and the local area. The tours/activities they suggested were excellent, we did the snorkeling and Chocolate making, booked as recommended with Dani at the Roatán Tour Guide Association, both were exceptional. This was an incredible holiday, and everything we hoped it would be as a honeymoon/anniversary/babymoon (even 6 months pregnant the whole set up was incredibly comfortable for me!!) Thank you so much Sal and Turk - cannot recommend this stay enough!!

EVERYTHING, BEAUTIFUL, NICE FINISHES, FANTASTIC SERVICE, YOU ONLY HAD TO CALL ONCE FOR ANYTHING, TOWELS, WATER, ETC. THE JACUZZI WAS GREAT AND THE POOL TOO. WE HAD TERRIBLE WEATHER BUT WE HAD AN AMZING TME BECAUSE OF THE CHOICE WE MADE AT OCEAN ONE. WOULD LOVE TO REPEAT IN NICER WEATHER
