A short walk from Ludlow town centre, The Charlton Arms provides attractive rooms and fine dining on the Ludford Bridge. This Shropshire pub is just 10 minutes’ walk from the medieval Ludlow Castle. Myroom[s] were outstanding - spacious, inviting, and beautifully appointed, with a balcony and outside setting from which to enjoy the River Teme below and watch the duck surf under the arches of the old stone bridge. Wonderful.

Communication with the hosts was exceptional. Very Smooth check in and out and a bottle of wine and milk was a nice touch. Proximity to Westmidlands safari was only 5mins and the reason we booked. Shampoo, towels, bodywash and some kids toys/books included. Kitchen ware etc was good quality and plentiful.

COSY COTTAGE ON BERNARDS HILL by SHIRE STAYS, a property with a garden, is located in Bridgnorth, 28 km from Chillington Hall, 39 km from Lickey Hills Country Park, as well as 40 km from Broad Street.... We were met by a lovely, friendly lady who showed us around the house and was very knowledgeable about the local area. The house was beautiful, warm and cosy - and the bed was perfectly comfy. The parking was about a 2 minute walk away.

Set in Shrewsbury in the Shropshire region and Ironbridge Gorge reachable within 46 km, Stone Cottage offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a garden and free private parking. Immaculately clean, warm, fully equipped and very comfortable homely property. Absolutely everything has been perfectly thought out and the host is delightful. There was even bread, 4 bottles of water, cookies, tea, coffee, milk, .... full trolley of toiletries . superb clean modern bathroom, lovely beds, clean towels. I could keep going on about the fully equipped homely kitchen, the very comfortable living room with reclining chairs and settee, location amongst the hills & dales and about the property and the host but to simplify, come and spend some time here whilst the price is so incredibly reasonable. You'd have to pay four times for a suite in a hotel and you'd not get close to this quality and location. You can see the photos of the interior here.

Lakeside Eco Pod is located in Oswestry, 16 km from Chirk Castle and 26 km from Erddig, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. This was in a lovely secluded spot, with amazing views and peace. The owners were also super friendly and helpful!

Silverwood Loft is a recently renovated apartment in Telford, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The place is amazing. Lovely owners who did take care of every detail. The beds are so comfortable, we really needed a good night sleep after we had a lot of hard beds in other hotels/rooms. The wifi is good and its nice to watch something on the big sofa.
