With a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Dee, this charming Scottish mansion dates back to 1225 AD, and was once home to the Knights Templar. The most beautiful setting with an excellent restaurant. We all wanted to meet as a family and have decided this will be the first of many trips to Maryculter House. The residence lounge is fabulous and the facility is dog friendly.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Craggan is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Ballater, 16 km from Balmoral Castle. This was the best accomodation we've ever had. There were so many wow moments that it is difficult to describe it all. It is a small pension owned by a very nice couple, that made us feel better than at home. Room was very nice, clean, with big bathroom. There was a home made cake prepared for us when we arrived. Breakfast are freshly made by owners, everything is delicious, and there is a big selection of home made cakes, that are simply gorgeous. Surroundings are very nice as well. We felt so good we didnt want to leave.

The house was exactly as described, very cozy and well furnished. Tina welcomed us warmly and also gave us a couple eggs from her hens and some milk. Would have stayed more!

Boasting garden views, Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Balmoral Castle. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Perfect location for our golf week and for meeting our friends. The studio was clean and just as described in the booking. The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact with any questions or requests. It was great to have the car parked in a safe location.

Entire unique tiny house - Moss Cabin is located in Banff, 1.1 km from Inverboyndie Beach, 35 km from Huntly Castle, and 18 km from Delgatie Castle. Loved the fireplace and how cozy it felt. Great shower. Loved the little garden with all its fairy lights. The whole place was just right!
